We have developed an IR blaster accessory that you can connect to the hub that works like these. Sorry if this is not the right place for this! Thanks for any advice/help :) The Flic app lets you easily set up Flic button control. Any suggestions TV: Philips 32PF9731D/10.

As it’s sometimes working and sometimes not, the tV and amplifier are getting out of sync. Flic 2 is the smallest and fastest button for Apple HomeKit. When recording IR signals, it also records a different IR signal every time. I was wondering if there was a way to use home assistant to trigger these IR blasts when isolated from the internet? I believe using the Aqara app at all requires it to contact their servers so workarounds via the app don't seem desirable to me. The amplifier always works every time, but the tv sometimes works on a IR signal, sometimes it doesn’t. Unfortunately, the main reason I want this hub is the combined lure of those cheap aqara sensors and the IR blaster functionality! Having the IR blaster is very important but I'm told it cannot be called from homekit. My primary personal use case for tying this Blaster to Hubitat would be to automatically control an air purifier based on room conditions. While I think there's a fairly limited set of use cases for incorporating the buttons themselves, you can also work with the Flic Hub and, more practically, their IR Blaster. I'm quite privacy focussed so I want to restrict IOT devices from reaching the internet and the Aqara M2 hub has a homekit mode which allows it to just use homekit and no external servers. Back in April, Flic released an SDK for their buttons. I don't think this is possible still, right I held out hope but don't think it's happening. For the three years I've had the device it's only ever been able to trigger the IR blaster from the flic buttons. I am hoping HomeKit, and IR integration is. But with a huge disappointment, this purchase has become useless to my home. brave3050 Emil last edited by Emil this is exactly the reason I bought Flic 2. Flic, like the other smart controllers, can also be stuck to almost any surface, and is also splash-proof if you want to change the music while you are showering or want to use it as an outdoor doorbell. For best results ensure a clear line of sight between the IR blaster and the receiving device. Hi guys, I'm quite new to home assistant (homekit user, dabbled in homebridge and now getting into home assistant). I've been waiting for the time when I can use shortcuts on my phone to trigger the IR blaster. Does anybody know how I can use the IR Blaster with HomeKit, so that Siri can turn on my TV and AV-Receiver 1 Reply Last reply Reply Quote 0. This wireless smart button can also control your dumb IR enabled devices, like TVs or AC systems, with the IR Blaster accessory. Connect your Flic IR Accessory to the Flic Hub via the 2.5mm connector and place the IR blaster, in the direction of the receiving device(s).
