I collect my points in both AerClub and Executive Club, so I combined the points to make an award flight redemption. It’s handy to be able to transfer Avios between the programmes and I used the function recently. Once I amended one to match the other, I could login just fine. I found my mobile number was written differently in each. If you get an error message saying your account details don’t match, check your address and telephone details in each account. You have the option to transfer the points any way you like and the transfers are completed pretty much instantly.

You can choose to login to a British Airways Executive Club or Iberia Plus account and when done you see the screen above. Next, you will see a button on the right called Manage My Account, drop that down and click Combine My Avios. Once signed in, you need to click on My Avios at the top right hand side of the screen. For Aer Lingus to British Airways, you can go to the Avios website here to start and login with your AerClub details. First up, you’ll need to have a frequent flyer account with each airline.

Officially called Combine My Avios, it’s not immediately clear how to do this. Moving points from British Airways to Qatar Airways uses a different method and is not covered here. In actual fact, you can transfer between all these airlines as you wish.
